Strictly necessary
Required for core site functionality, security, consent storage, and protected contact form submissions.
These technologies cannot be disabled from the preference panel because the site depends on them.
Preferences
Remembers optional visitor choices such as the selected language or future interface settings.
On Xelak, the selected language is stored only when this category is enabled.
Analytics
Reserved for aggregate site usage and page performance measurement after explicit consent.
The current version does not load analytics scripts, but the category is ready for future consent-gated activation.
Marketing / tracking
Reserved for remarketing or cross-site profiling tools if they are introduced in the future.
The current version does not run marketing cookies.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files or technical identifiers that let a website remember a choice, protect a form, or determine whether a feature should be enabled.
2. How we use them on Xelak
We currently use only strictly necessary technologies for website operation and one optional category for remembering language. Analytics and Marketing categories are available for the future but remain inactive in the current release.
3. How consent works
On the first visit you see a banner with Accept all, Reject all, and Customize options. You can close the banner without making a decision; in that case only a compact reopen button remains and no consent is stored.
4. How to change your choice
You can reopen the Cookie Settings panel anytime from the footer. When you disable the Preferences category, we clear the stored language and stop saving future language selections.
5. Involved third parties
Google reCAPTCHA may place or read technical identifiers required to protect the contact form. We do not activate analytics or marketing tools unless they are explicitly introduced and supported by compatible consent.
6. Browser controls
In addition to our controls, you can delete or block cookies directly from your browser. Some essential functions may stop working if all necessary technologies are blocked.
